Funding Opportunity
In October, we announced several projects being funded to help advance the findings of the Lexington Park Equity Accelerator. The projects focus on policy and decision making related to Connectivity, Equity, Belonging, and Advocacy in parks and green spaces around Lexington.
We are looking for volunteers for these projects! Submit a volunteer form using the button to the right. Let us know if you’d like to work on a specific project, or we can connect you with a project that fits your skills. We will reach out soon after we get your form!
Request a Workshop
At our workshops, we examine past and present parks planning processes. Then with this information, we work together to envision solutions to parks access barriers. We have collaborated with city staff, local experts, and community members in interactive discussions to address issues such as transportation, funding, and maintenance. You will leave with actionable ideas for improving equity and access to parks and green spaces.
