Lexington Park Equity Accelerator Funding Opportunity

We’re very excited to be able to fund several projects lead by Fayette County residents to help advance the findings of the Lexington Park Equity Accelerator!

Project proposals were submitted for up to $1,000 and focused on policy- and decision-making related to Connectivity, Equity, Belonging, and Advocacy in parks and green spaces in Fayette County. Proposals were then reviewed by our selection committee comprised of individuals representing the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government’s (LFUCG) Divisions of Parks and Recreation and Planning and Lexington residents. The chosen projects were awarded and announced in mid-October 2023.

Scroll down to see more information on each of the chosen projects.

We’re looking for volunteers to assist with these projects! You can submit a volunteer form below. Let us know if you’d like to work on a specific project, or we can connect you with a project that fits your skills. We will reach out soon after we get your form!
